Faith & Worship

Your love does not fade,
even as we choose
a different path,
persuaded
to put faith aside
and pick up instead
forbidden fruit.
Your love is constant
and accepting.
Your love is merciful
and forgiving.
Your love is grace-full
and inspiring.
Your love is
all we are not
and everything you are,
our loving God and King!

Bless to us, O Lord,
the earth on which we walk,
each mountain top,
sunlit sky.

Bless to us, O Lord,
the beauty that we see,
fragrant flower,
butterfly.

Bless to us, O Lord,
the peace within our heart
when filled with joy
or sorrow.

Bless to us, O Lord,
the journey that we make,
the footsteps that
we follow.

To you O Lord, we bring
our offering of praise,
to the One who hears
a people’s cry,
brings release
from captivity,
deliverance
from desert places,
and from parched earth
brings forth Living Water,
abundant harvest
and new birth.
To you O Lord, we bring
our offering of praise.

Thank you for those
who by their example
have been a light
in our journey with you.
Those whose guidance
has inspired us,
whose enthusiasm
has infected us,
who live each day
as if it matters!
Bless such faithfulness
wherever it is shown,
where lives become
an offering,
your word becomes
transforming,
and light is brought
into this dark world.
