Liturgy[index][1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7][8][9][10] [11] [12] [13] [14] Revelation ' I want you to know brothers that the Gospel
I preached is not something that man made up. I did not receive
it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it
by revelation from Jesus Christ.' Into your presence we come 'This we proclaim concerning the Word of Life.
The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we
proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father
and has appeared to us.' For the steadfast message of your prophets through
the ages 'For the word of God is living and powerful, and
sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division
of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner
of the thoughts and intents of the heart..'
'O Lord you have searched me and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts
from afar.' You know us so well, heavenly Father. You gave
us the free will to make our own choices, but hold your arms
wide to comfort and forgive us when we fail you, as so often
we do. Through our words of prayer and adoration Together we share in the words of the Lord's prayer Word of life, through whom this world was created and all things breathed into existence, may we draw close to you, hear you speaking, understand, and in understanding grow in faith and in service to you and to others.
